- Does it work with VoiceOver or TalkBack?Yes, with VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android. To get the alerts, Garita has to be open.
- What changes if I have the screen reader turned on?Garita tells you the arrivals at your stop when they change, and your reader reads the alerts. You turn it on from the Accessibility button.
- How do I make the text bigger or raise the contrast?Tap the Accessibility button on the map and pick the text size: Normal, Large or Extra large. Contrast is under “More options”.
- How do I stop the screen from moving so much?Turn on “Calm screen” in the Accessibility button: no animations, soft colors and fewer changes on the map.
- How do I see only the buses with a ramp?Turn on “I need a ramp” to highlight the buses with a ramp. If you want to see only those, turn on “Show only accessible buses”.
- How do I tap more easily?Turn on “Easy tap” in the Accessibility button: the buttons get bigger and further apart.
- How do I hear the arrivals without reading them?Turn on “I prefer to listen”: a speaker button appears on each row, so you can hear each arrival, and the text gets bigger.
