What changes if I have the screen reader turned on?
Garita tells you the arrivals at your stop when they change, and your reader reads the alerts. You turn it on from the Accessibility button.
The Accessibility button is on the map. Tapping it opens a panel with six options.
- Tap the Accessibility button on the map.
- Tap “Screen reader”.
- Check that “Read arrivals aloud” is on.
With that, Garita tells you the arrivals at your stop when they change. At the same time, Garita's own voice turns off, because your reader already reads the alert.
Inside the panel, the “Listen” button reads the options aloud.
