Help- What is Garita?Garita shows you where your bus is live and how long it has until it reaches your stop, in Uruguay.
- How do I start using it?Open garita.uy, tap “See the map” and that's it. You don't need to create an account or install anything.
- Does it cost anything to use?No. Garita is free, has no ads and doesn't ask you to create an account.
- Do I have to install anything?No. It opens in the browser. If you like, add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.
- Which cities does it work in?In Montevideo, Maldonado, Canelones, San José, Rivera, Colonia, Rocha and Paysandú, plus the intercity buses from Tres Cruces.
- Are the minutes exact?No, they're approximate and can vary by a couple of minutes. They update on their own while you watch.
- What happens with my location?We only ask for it if you tap “Where am I”, and it's used on your phone. We don't send it to any server.
