How do holidays work in Maldonado?
CODESA publishes a special timetable for each holiday on its blog, with the departures of each line. Garita takes it from there.
CODESA publishes a notice before each holiday. For example, the one for Monday 12 October 2026 was published on 9 October, with the departures of each line from Maldonado and from San Carlos.
Garita takes those departures from that same notice and shows them as the timetable for that day, apart from the live minutes.
If CODESA did not announce a holiday, Garita does not make up departures. It uses the general holiday rule and does not show times the company did not give.

- What timetable do buses use on a holiday? It depends on the holiday and on what each company announces. If the company announced something, its notice wins; if not, the holiday rule applies.
- How does Garita find out about changes? It reads the notices companies publish and follows where their buses are. If a company stops sending its location, the app says so.
