HelpWhat can I change in the settings?
Tap the gear on the map screen to choose the theme, the language, the alerts and whether routes are drawn.
The settings are the gear on the map. Close them with the X, or by dragging the sheet down on your phone.
What you can choose
- “Light or dark”: the theme of the screen.
- “Language”: español, português or English.
- “Map”: whether a bus's route is drawn when you tap it, and how long alerts stay on screen.
- “Install Garita”: if your phone lets you put it on the home screen, like an app.
- “Let us know when something's wrong”: to tell us about a problem with the app or the map.
- “How to use Garita” and “See the welcome again”: to see the explanation again.

- How do I set Garita to light or dark?By default it changes on its own: light by day and dark by night, following Maldonado's sun. You can also set it yourself.
- How long do alerts stay on screen?By default, an alert stays until you close it. In the settings you can have it go away on its own after 10 seconds or after 1 minute.
