How long do alerts stay on screen?
By default, an alert stays until you close it. In the settings you can have it go away on its own after 10 seconds or after 1 minute.
Alerts are the little cards that appear over the map: a bus that doesn't show up, a company that stopped sending its location, or one that came back. In the “Alerts” section of the settings there are three options:
- “Until I close them”: stays until you tap the X. It's the one set by default.
- “10 seconds”: goes away on its own after ten seconds.
- “1 minute”: goes away on its own after a minute.
The no-connection alert stays until the network is back, even if you chose another time.
