How to get to the Convention Center by bus

• From the Maldonado bus terminal: the 11 (CODESA), the 55 (CODESA) or the 16 (Maldonado Turismo) takes you there directly.
• From the Punta del Este bus terminal: the 4 (CODESA) or the 52 (Maldonado Turismo) takes you there directly.
• From San Carlos: the 4 or the D takes you there directly.
• From La Barra: the 55 (CODESA) or the 16 (Maldonado Turismo) takes you there directly.
• From Piriápolis: take the 8 to the Maldonado bus terminal and then the 11 or the 55. Or the 8 to the Punta del Este bus terminal and then the 4. When you get on the first one, ask for “transbordo”.
• From Pan de Azúcar: take the 20 (Micro LTDA) or the 28 (Guscapar) to the Maldonado bus terminal and then the 11 (CODESA), the 55 (CODESA) or the 16 (Maldonado Turismo). When you get on the first one, ask for “boleto combinación” and give the stub to the driver of the second one.
• From Manantiales: the 55 (CODESA) or the 16 (Maldonado Turismo) takes you there directly.
• From José Ignacio: take the 14 to the Maldonado bus terminal and then the 11 or the 55. Or the 14 to the Punta del Este bus terminal and then the 4. When you get on the first one, ask for “transbordo”.

To change buses: between two CODESA lines, ask for “transbordo”, which costs nothing extra. Between any companies, ask for “boleto combinación”. The stub is valid for at least an hour and not for the way back.
